Redshift Shadowless Citizen (Soul Force Records) By: Jeb Branin

REDSHIFT have allowed their sound to evolve a bit from the last time I heard them. Their classic NYHC-style romping is still there but it is now used as a building block for a diverse delivery that is equal parts metalcore crunch, post hardcore, emo and sXe. It isn't surprising that the songs I like the best are the ones where they keep the "exploration" to a minimum and just spit out the hardcore like a punch loosened tooth (the song "Lagrimas" is an amazing example of this).
