Scot Sax Scot Sax (Not Lame) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
Warm, bright pop songs with an undeniable glow, Scot Sax's self-titled album on Not Lame is a pleasurable, good time pop record with the right amount of juice, from the floating melodies to the clean, sweeping vocals, through the jangly rhythm section pushing the pop to the max. A simple, yet extraordinary pop songwriter, Scot Sax has no problem writing memorable songs that get stuck in your head, and this album is a prime example of his talent and charms. I'll give it an A-.
