 Melodically-enriched punk rock that manages to somehow veer away from pop-punk despite its main inspirations being pop and punk, Dallas, Texas' Slow Ride give you a fast, aggressive rock record you can sink your teeth into. With crunchy guitars, steady, pounding rhythms, and plenty of charge, Slow Ride doesn't seem that far off of the modern rock radar, 'cept they have more balls and take more chances, and for that you gotta love them. I'll give it a B.
