Porter Whiskey Hill (Blue Monster Records) By: Ashley Driggs
![](/images/sep.gif)
Porter is coming at you with Whisky Hill, an 11-track offering that is rich in melody and completed by a vast array of instruments. With solos beaten out only by those at a Phish concert, this quintet is jazzy, almost ethnic in sound, and has lyrics that leave you wanting more. Each song tells a story of some unnamed someone and is backed up by drum beats-a-bantering. If you're a fan of Phish or Widespread Panic, we highly suggest you give Porter a try.
