Satanic Surfers Unconsciously Confined (Bad Taste Records) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
Sweden's pop-punksters the Satanic Surfers are back with another heap of infectious, tearing punk songs laden with sugary coated pop. Unconsciously Confined is the rare mixture of well-written lyrics, smart melodies, and un-compromised punk excitement, blazing ahead with the punk, following with the melodies, and completed by a rhythm section that propels the songs, ensuring you bounce up and down, chasing the hooks mindlessly. Pulling it all off, these Swedish rockers take pop-punk in an enjoyable direction and give you a lot to enjoy without boring you or making you grow tired before the album is over. I'll give it a B+.
