Good Riddance Cover Ups (Lorelei Records) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
Pop-punk covers of classic rock songs, from the ultra-poppy "Come Dancing" by The Kinks to the hardcore punk of Black Flag's "My War", Good Riddance re-interprets them, turning the likes into clean cut, shiny punk nuggets. Kiss' "I Stole Your Love" and The Shangri-Las' "Leader of the Pack" get the treatment too along with six other songs. Not a bad cover album by a band that takes a diverse spectrum of songs and makes them all sound the same. I'll give it a C.
