Honey Tongue Take Me Anywhere (Naga Night Records) By: Alex Steininger
With one of the sexiest front women of rock in Jen Ayers, Honey Tongue can't lose. They have the eye candy covered, and the powerful vocals Ayers brings to the band to back it all up. Their driven, guitar-rock approach is a bit too bar rock for commercial radio, but they're getting there. Think mid 90's alterna-pop with more Seattle than Southern California. Crunchy guitars ignite while the relentless rhythm section back up Ayers' melodic roar. I'll give it a B.
