The Unholy Sounds of Damnation (R.A.F.R.)

By: Alex Steininger

The Unholy Sounds of Damnation is right. The latest release from California's grittiest, most true-to-the-streets rock label, Rock and Fucking Roll Records, Damnation's The Unholy Sounds of Damnation is about as fast as they come. It's a full-length, and in true punk fashion, eleven songs clock in at nineteen minutes. Before you realize it the record is over. But the party isn't. Hit the replay button and witness the sounds as they once again come flying at you from out of nowhere, the pure punk mayhem uninhibited as it does anything and everything it wants to get your attention. This is beer-soaked rock 'n' roll the way it was meant to be played, loud and careless. I'll give it an A-.
