 Frou Frou is Imogen Heap and Guy Sigsworth. Immi sings and the two of them both play guitars, pianos, drums, synthesizers, samplers, and music software. The outcome is Details, an album filled with full-blown pop songs, some subdued, and others bombastic in their presentation. With the sexy Imogen as the front woman, the songs are carried out with her alluring voice, mirroring the sexiness of their single and sounding velvet smooth and silky soft. Flawlessly executed, Details is filled with pop songs that will melt you, their mid-tempo beats and warming melodies just too much to resist. The album also screams crossover hits, appealing to the adult contemporary market, dance-pop fans, light rock, and AA formats. I'll give it a B+.
