 Munich, Germany four-piece Notwist's Shrink examines two contrasting worlds: post-punk/jagged guitar rock and electronics. Experimenting with the two, The Notwist deliver a hook-ready, infectious, bouncy, and even danceable collection of loose, guitar-driven pop songs that have more in common with shoe-gazing indie-rock than radio-ready modern rock. Still, the songs are energetic and carry their own weight, making Shrink a solid investment for those into guitar rock and/or electronica-brushed pop music. I'll give it a B.
