Various Artists Urban Noise Volume 1-Traffic (CD Man) By: Mike SOS

This compilation features one of the many facets of NYC's rock scene, as seven band's songs comprise this 13-track release. While many of the outfits featured here rarely stray from middle of the road album oriented rock, the spacey vibe of Man On Earth and the Weezer-y bounce of New Vintage stand out head and shoulders above 383 Stroker's and Orange Park's fashionable twenty-something rock. Worth a listen if you're curious of what's going on at CBGB's on a semi-regular basis.
