 Featuring members of NASUM and GENERAL SURGERY, you would expect nothing less than absolute aural bedlam from SAYYADINA and that's exactly what you get. Fear Gave Us Wings is 19 tracks of sandblasting grind. The artwork in this CD features lots of jet airplanes, which is apropos since listening to this CD is an experience on par with getting sucked through a jet engine. In fact, now that I think about it, the "jet" simile goes even further.SAYYADINA is as fast as a jet turbine, as harsh as drinking jet fuel, as loud as a jet breaking the sound barrier, and as devastating as an F-16 opening fire on civilians (which, I'm sure Donald Rumsfeld would assure us, could never REALLY happen... cough-cough). Must I actually say "this is a must-own" or have I succeeded in clearly implying it?
