 This CD is a collection of doom/sludge/tarcore/slowcore/hardcore bands paying homage to the fabulous might of Godzilla. Of course that's fitting because bands like MAMMOTH, SOLACE, SLOTH, FISTULA, and NEGATIVE REACTION tear into your eardrums with the same ferocity that Godzilla tears into a Japanese city. This is one of those compilations that should come with a complimentary bottle of aspirin, because it's going to do a number on your cranium. The artwork on this CD is almost as good as the music. It is guaranteed to thrill any and all Godzilla fans. My only complaint about the whole project is that only one band, DOT(.), hails from Japan. For some reason I was expecting more.
