Stymie

Although the poor quality of this recording is apparent from the first song, Stymie is one of the better bands who's demo I've heard recently. It is very melodic punk with loud vocals, but which are still sung and not yelled or screamed, making the overall sound that much better. And this drummer does not just pound his snare drum over and over, but puts his entire set to very good use which brings out the fullness of the band's sound, despite the quality of the recording.
