Stuck Mojo
Violated

By: Ollie

After metal went out of fashion, and all the people who liked it for its image had gone, there was nothing new happening, the same old bands played the same old songs, and no one had any new ideas. This was until the "New Breed" bands came along. Some used Techno, Fear Factory and co, and some used some rap stlye vocals, like Deftones, Limp Bizkit, KoRn, and Stuck Mojo. It's become an increasingly popular style, with more and more bands using it. Stuck Mojo have been around for 7 years now, and STILL they don't get the media cover they deserve, they are over looked, written off and bassically ignored, but they have 3 stonking albums behind them, what in hells name is going on here? They finally got some kind of coverage when they toured with Type O Negative and heavy metal kings Entombed but the reviews were few and far between.

Anyway, on with the review.

When I got hold of this album, I looked on the back of the CD case and saw the CD ran for a pathetic 25 minutes! After paying a considerable amount of money getting hold of teh album, i was a little more than annoyed. But then, i played the CD, and all my doubts vanised. The opening track blew me away, the rao voclas were the best I have EVER heared, thsi CD is GOOD.In there own words to make this CD they "Grooved out ass off" and hell, they made a bloody good job of it. After liserning to a heavenly first 4 tracks, you're treated to 2 live tracks 'F.O.D' and 'Monster' these are brillant. Simply Brillant. If a band can sound THAT good, then they are great.

So thast it, a great album, a bad price. Well I'm off to buy the other 2 albums!
