Yes, you oh-so-skeptical fans of classic metal, UFO is back! This is the real deal folks! The classic lineup featuring Michael Schenker, Phil Mogg,Pete Way, Pal Raymond, and Andy Parker. UFO were, quite simply, one of the most innovative and seminal hard rock acts from the seventies. Their albums are classics. Their influence, both as a band and as solo artists,is still reverberating through the metal world today. "Walk On Water" is eight all new tunes and two redone classics ("Doctor, Doctor" and "LightsOut"). In all honesty, the band have done themselves proud with this release. The rhythms are steady and provide a solid backbeat for the guitars which are of the pure rock 'n roll variety that is so hard to find nowadays. The keys are prominent and adhere closely to the classic rock organ style that defined early metal. The vocals are stellar, of course.Every tune is superbly written and radiates 100% pure rock 'n roll glory.I used to spend hours cranking my UFO 8-tracks (yeah, I just dated myself)and I have spent hours cranking this sucker as well. I LOVE UFO and you should too!!!
