 If complex power metal is your thing, then Awakened By Reality, the full- length debut from Dymaxion is a must. Inspired by metal bands of the late 70's and 80's this Ohio four-piece know their stuff and know it well, as they present a collection of well-crafted songs intricately constructed and performed with expertise make even more impressive by the fact that at the time this disc was recorded their ages were 15, 18, 19 and 21 (watch for 15-year old guitarist Mark Agnesi in the future). Word is the band is currently in the studio, so watch for a new release in the coming year.
