 Built around the solid, award-winning songwriting of vocalis/guitarist Scott Miller, Nick Dastardly and The Escape Artists are on the right track with their debut effort Let Go Of My Bruised Wing. Full of strong hooks and melodies, the thirteen tracks here have a sound rooted in straight-ahead, pop-tinged rock branching out in a diverse array of styles reminiscent of everything from the ragged sounds of The Replacements and Soul Asylum to the rootsier side of things, a la Counting Crows, and a little of everything in between. Expect to be hearing alot more from this four-piece.
