Sucker Sucker (Demo CD) By: Alex Steininger Sucker's demo CD is a seven-song journey through their funk-rock blend. It's energetic, catchy, and very funky. Though funk-rock doesn't normally sit well with me, the songs are well structured and have a hard rock edge that brings the beat to the forefront, without alienating the funk, which is always present.
This demo is a solid demo. The band is good at what they do and have the music sensibility to pull off tasteful funk-rock. Right there is reason to celebrate. I'll give it a C.
