 Theeeeeeeyyyyyy'rrrreeee Baaaaaaack... Having disbanded just long enough to release a retrospective album called "Southern Discomfort", EHG are back in the saddle with a new full length opus of aneurysm inducing audio sludge called "Confederacy Of Ruined Lives". These gents are to sludge-core what MITB was to power violence, namely; pioneers, godfathers, kingpins, masters, and luminaries. They blaze the trails that others can only hope to follow. This time around the band have incorporated more rockin' and rollin' into their patented sound (not unlike what the band 16 does) but they do so without sacrificing one iota of sickness or twistedness. Somehow they sound even more "southern" than ever. Being steamrolled was never quite so pleasurable.
