The Killingtons The Killingtons (MEG) By: Alex Steininger
Pop-punk and emo in the same album? Oh no, say it ain't so? Hmm... has this been done before? Yes. Plenty of times. And therefore, this album seemed quite dull. Nothing new. The songs weren't even catchy. Just a lackluster attempt to get the emotional pull of emo and the power and catchy-ness of pop-punk in one tight package. But in doing so, the production wipes out any and all depth the album may have. It seems so superficial and weak, ready to collapse at any moment. I just didn't dig this album. I'll give it a D.
