 What do you expect when you put on an AFI album? Fast, piercing hardcore you can sink your teeth into and enjoy from start to finish? Or do you expect to just be floored by some of the fastest hardcore around, delivering melodic bursts of fury and sizzling beats alongside blazing guitars? Whatever you expect, AFI delivers and then some on The Art of Drowning, one of their best works to date. Dynamic and solid, this album rocks from start to finish. I'll give it an A-.
