 The CIRCLE OF DEAD CHILDREN's unfortunate choice of moniker means they constantly have to explain to people that they are not a gorecore band (which is complicated by song titles like "Only One Per Coffin" and "Digestive Ceremony") - but that may be the only mistake the band has ever made. Musically they are nearly perfect. They combine ultra raw grindcore (ala early PHOBIA) with noisy hardcore flavors (ala MANGE) and death metal sewer growls (ala CARCASS) for a sound that is distinctly their own and stands heads and shoulders above what most of their peers manage. If you dare to put this CD on you better be prepared to have your cranium crushed. 15
