Closer Now (Bitchwarrior)

 Fightmaster shows a lot of possibilities. They're able to craft hook-a-plenty pop songs that are light and bouncy, but with enough of a push to make them not fall flat on closer examination. However, the amateurish recording quality and loose-ness of the band leaves a lot to be desired. Listening to Closer Now, you can't help but feel this band will have a lot more - and a lot better - output in the future. Don't count them because of this CDs lackluster approach. I'll give this a C-. 15
