Maudlin of the Well

 Severely disturbed death metal, each song on Maudlin of the Well's Leaving Your Body Map starts out pretty; poppy and emo-esque, you start to think the band might be a tear-stained indie rock act. Then the vocal roar bursts in and blood starts squirting everywhere, quickly changing the song into the death metal the band is all about. It's perplexing at first, but the more and more you listen to it, the more it grows on you and the more you really appreciation their blending two completely different worlds. I'll give it a B.
