The Wicker Man DVD (Anchor Bay Entertainment) By: Randy Harward
It's funny to go back to films that may have once frightened or disturbed you and see how silly they are today. The Wicker Man is no exception, although this was my first time watching it. You see, the Kelly Preston film Spellbinder was my first exposure to the plot of The Wicker Man, although the latter film came first. The former was much more frightening and disturbing initially, but tame the second time around. This, of course, made The Wicker Man a complete bore. The best part about it is the nude scenes, of which there could always be more. Special features? Um--color, closed-captioned, widescreen, Dolby?, Theatrical trailers, interviews with cast and crew, TV spot, radio spots.
