Feasting With Panthers (Lost Highway)

 Americana rock with soul, William Topley rekindles the link between soul and country, offering up a folky, rockin' rendition of the two, combining them in a well-produced, sparkling package, adding his heart, and then allowing the instruments to do their talking. Well written and honest as the morning mist, Topley leaves the listener with no doubt that he can write poignant, moving songs that are warm and friendly. I'll give it a B+.
