 Gorgeous melodies atop laid-back rock, Cracker has done it again, creating an exceptional record that soaks in the diversity while creating a rootsy pop record. From the soul influences of "Shameless" to the guitar-driven rock of "Superfan", and through the sunshine pop of "Ain't That Strange", the band leaves no rocks undiscovered. Alt-country, rock 'n' roll, pop, and even folk all play an important part in making this record a musician's favorite, as well as a must for fans. I'll give it an A.
