John Vecchiarelli Tiny Rooms (Speck Records) By: Alex Steininger
Promising singer-songwriter acoustic-folk, John Vecchiarelli's Tiny Rooms is the start of a musician who is looking to find his voice, as he hones his chops and develops his lyrical style. Tiny Rooms sounds like a budding newcomer, rough spots sharing time with moments of pure passion that can do no wrong. This is a diamond in the rough, a record that may not hit you all at once, but one that makes you feel as if Vecchiarelli will offer up something special down the road, and when he does, Tiny Rooms will be that much more appealing. I'll give it a B-.
