 This CD is a compilation of the first two CORN ON MACABRE 7"ers plus a few bonus tracks. Although this band features some ex members of bands I love (like ENEMY SOIL and pg.99), I'd never heard them before now. I'm impressed. This band does a fantastic job of using the DEP-inspired sound not as a driving force, but as a way to enhance and flesh out a high-adrenaline hardcore thrash sound. Fans of the Robotic Empire sound will likely flip their lids for this, and rightfully so. Plus, how can you NOT like a band with a name as clever as this?
