 More AM pop than indie-rock, but leaning on both pretty equally, Silver Sunshine's self-titled full-length is a warm, California dreamin' record that is able to jump from a soft, intimate acoustic number into a sun-scorched, happy-go-lucky melody that will make you want to skip down the street smiling. This is positive, hook-laden pop music that will remind you why the early 90s college-rock/pop scene was so huge and influential. I'll give this a B+.
