 This is the second release from the San Francisco based group, Gridlock. Further is the second release from Mike Wells and Cadoo. The CD has an experimental taste with organized beats and is generally unchaotic, unlike other experimental music. The vocals are minimalistic and often hidden by the blaring distorted beat or massive layered electronica. Further fluctuates from a dreamy ambient style to hard hitting industrial distortion. Gridlock is unique and doesn't fit into any particular category or style, but fans of Haujobb and Auteche should definitely find Further very enjoyable.
