Nod's Tacklebox O' Fun (Reconstriction Records)

By: DJ Dysdynia

From Reconstriction comes a CD that is nothing but Fun. Nod's Tacklebox of Fun is Synthcore bands doing covers of a variety of songs. Society Burning doing the Cardigans "Lovefool." Purr Machine recreating Hanson's "MMMBop." Hate Dept's live version of Dead or Alive's "You Spin Me Round." Mindless Faith doing Prince's "When Doves Cry," Tinfed doing "Policy of Truth" originally done by Depeche Mode. Some cover versions are better than others and some don't even resemble it's origin, but overall Nod's TackleBox of Fun is a great change from the normal.
