Japanese fastcore power violence is just about the most intense and overwhelming style of music to raise it ugly head in the underground for a long time and EXCLAIM may be the embodiment of the entire scene. They are lighting fast (fast, fast, fast, fast), have a distinctive groove, and write really good tunes. Each of the seven songs on this EP go by like a tornado on overdrive leaving nothing buy destruction in their wake. EXCLAIM capture the very essence of hardcore and distill it onto a mere 7 inches of vinyl. With this record they take their seat amongst the elite fastcore bands from the land of the rising sun.
