The Lawrence Arms Ghost Stories (Asian Man Records) By: Alex Steininger

I was a huge fan of The Broadways. Enjoyed almost all their songs and thought they were one of the most outspoken bands with a real message to share. But, after they dissolved and the front man started The Lawrence Arms, I just couldn't get into his new project. The Lawrence Arms sound exactly like The Broadways without the capturing lyrics or the fire that propelled them. This is just a milder version that just doesn't have the steam The Broadways did. I tried, but couldn't get into it. I'll give it a C-.
