 Writing blissful pop songs a la Billy Joel or Ben Fold's Five, Seattle's Firebrat create bouncy, happy-sounding pop music wrapped around the toe-tapping piano playing of its frontman. The vocals are filled with soul, the piano playing is top notch, and the back-up band is tight and punchy, helping round out the songs and giving them the kick they need. Here is some enjoyable pop music that will put a smile on your face. I'll give it a B+.
