 Electronica and synth orchestrated instrumentals for the movie, Requiem for a Dream, this soundtrack is equally soothing and unsettling. The jarring, nightmare-ish compositions sit nestled next to eerie, relaxing songs meant to put your mind at ease. Having never seen the movie, I can't ramble on about how each part works in the motion picture, however, I can say that if the movie is anywhere as good as the soundtrack, we have a winner on our hands. This soundtrack is a pleasant dream, a nightmare, and a fun, atmospheric album for any occasion. I'll give it an A.
