 Smashing, abrasive hard rock with enough melody to get radio play, but don't let that fool you. Godsmack is all angry, silencing guitars, shattering drums, and manic rhythms pulsating over the Alice In Chains-esqe vocals that went away like Alice In Chains (they went away, right?). The kids will love this record; this is sad but true. Fans of music will find the derivative, made for radio punk annoying and irritating. I can't say much more than that about this horrendous album.
