Beautiful Machine (Kinky Star)

 From the opening, self-titled track and its top-40 meets alternative rock melody to the long-winded burnt out pop of "Waiting for the World" through the screaming rave-rock of "Evelyn (Stonerhop Version)", Starfighter delivers catchy, hook-laden rock with balls. Even when they're shooting for the top of the charts, watering down their songs, and falling short. A solid EP. I'll give it a C+.
