Stark
The Surgical Suite (Ground Under Productions)

By: Jett Black

ELECTROPSYCHOHAUNT: Made for darkened industrial dance floors, The Surgical Suite, Stark's debut album, follows in the vein of Skinny Puppy, NIN, and Oneiroid Psychosis in the technical approach, producing music fit for the future of horror flicks. Intense DownUnder Industrial sinking into the sinister bowels of Yoda's swamp. Live Stark includes both Lee Bulig: Vocals, and Pete Crane: Synth/Guitar. However, on this debut album, Bulig pulls it all together solo. Stark spars well with :wumpscut:, Hocico, Suicide Commando, and the various incarnations of cEvin Key. Notable cd art layout and design illustrations in the style of Dave McKean [Frontline Assembly] and Neil Gaiman [Sandman] provided by Tim Staegich / eon-arts.de. Distro, Press, and Rotation for Stark cds have already encompassed the globe.
