 This band is from New York via Athens, GA but to listen to them you would swear that they had a long stay in Detroit at some time or another. Their beer drinking and hell raising take on heavy boogie rock has all the grit and grime of southern-fried doom but they kick out the jams at about twice the speed and with all the reckless abandon (and blues influences) that the Detroit sound is famous for. Imagine if Lemmy of Motorhead teamed up with MC5 to do old ZZ TOP covers and you have an idea of where this is coming from.
