 Bad Wizard does a great job of re-creating 70s arena rock with #1 Tonite!, a loud, guitar-crazed rock disc with more muscle than your average rock band. Keeping things powerful and moving, with an undeniable swagger, the songs found throughout #1 Tonite! are relentless in their approach to get you to rock. The band turns up the heat even more by making the songs quite melodic, ensuring that the entire disc is a memorable, guitar-driven experience that will remind you of the days when Kiss, Thin Lizzy, and other dominated. Not to just focus on one thing, the band adds a Southern Rock tinge to a few of the songs, making them more than a one-dimensional band, and fully blasting this record into the stratosphere. I'll give it a B+.
