 A rootsy, winding pop record, Patrick Conway creates airy melodies backed up by the tried and true Americana that gives his songs a blue collar, made in America feel, while his lyrics, though autobiographical in a lot of ways, are universal and easily relate-able. Here is a gutsy songwriter who knows what he wants to create and does so, regardless if others listen or not, making music for himself and those that understand what he is doing. I'll give this a B+.
