The Dorks The Dorks (Man With A Gun) By: Alex Steininger
Pop-punk meets the guitar-crunch of sloppy indie rock, The Dorks play loose, all-out rock without a care in the world, weaving between indie and punk, blurring the lines, and coming up with their own mess they call their self-titled full-length debut. It's raw, impassioned, and though it has plenty of flaws and holes in its songwriting, it is young enough that the promise shines through and makes you dig their fuzzy hooks and bouncy rock. I'll give it a C.
