The Hurricane Lamps Tilting at Windmills (Self-Released) By: Alex Steininger
Typical lo-fi indie rock, The Hurricane Lamps have a long way to go before they achieve something beyond average. The songs have their moments, their ability to rock and still sound bouncy and fun. But, beyond that, the lyrical content is lacking, the songs are melody-deprived, and the vocals are paper thin, leaving a lot to be desired. I'll give it C-.
