Deevision Special Edition (MVD) By: Randy Harward

There's a rumor (perhaps you've heard it) around that Marilyn Manson had his floating ribs removed so he could suck his own dick. With Deevision, Twisted Sister/Widowmaker frontman Dee Snider accomplishes this without the surgery, ostensibly to one-up the aforementioned androgynous Alice Cooper wannabe. This is done in a series of cutaways (rife with sycophantic remembrances from Snider's TS bandmates and other rock has-beens) from a performance by Snider and his band, the S.M.F.s (Sick MotherFuckers). The band itself is another example of self-fellatio: the SMFs are, as Snider readily admits, a Twisted Sister tribute band. Shameless, paying tribute to oneself, but one must admit that Twisted Sister did, once upon a time, rule. For that, one must credit Snider, who evidently didn't wanna wait for his due praise to come after death. B
