Her Flyaway Manner (Caulfield Records)

 Emo meets hardcore remnants in Her Flyaway Manner's loud, aggressive blend of rock. The vocals deliver the story line in a talk-ish style rather than singing, and when they do sing they're drawn out and overly punctuating on the music. However, the sharp, piercing guitars and thundering rhythm section that can go from 0 to 100 in seconds helps draw attention away from the vocals. When all is said and done, though, it's the vocals that ruin the music. And, the music isn't that original or creative to begin with. I'll give this a D.
