Limited Sight Distance

 Featuring former and current members of Mercury Rev, Varnaline, and Hopewell, Limited Sight Distance sets you up with expectations. After all, their pedigree is unquestionably good. One listen to their four song EP however and all expectations are shot down, leaving you feeling disappointed and craving more. The songs are good, they're just not compelling, certainly not like any of the previously mentioned bands' top cuts. The airy, drawn out lightweight pop-rock songs and acoustic offerings just don't do anything to make you take notice. You're left with some mediocre music and expectations that weren't close to being met. I'll give this a C-.
