Piney Gir Peakahokahoo (Greyday Productions) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
From their trip-y, indie-psychedelic-dance cover of The Who's "My Generation". To the bounce of album opener, "Boston", UK-based Piney Gir deliver a quirky, exciting, exhilarating look at the worlds of rock and pop on their debut, Peakahokahoo, a catchy, infectious, quite charming record that pushes the boundaries on indie-rock. Experimenting quite a lot as they navigate pop waters, Piney Gir creates solid masterpiece here, one that uber cool and indie hipsters alike, as well as anyone who just likes a good song that is catchy and still rocks, will latch on to. I'll give it a B+.
