Clyde Wrenn The Blue Cliff Record (self-released) By: Alex Steininger
![](/images/sep.gif)
Light heated pop focused on a warming, distant rhythm section, Clyde Wrenn walks the tight rope between Jeff Buckley and Michael Stipe, in a weird, near alt-country way. Though, this may sound unappealing, the results is a smooth, glorious collection of fragile, unique song nuggets sure to touch you more than once with a feeling so overcoming you'll re-visit it over and over again. I'll give this a B.
